Can anyone help with a solution to reflux? I want to get my band tightened from 4 to 5ml but this produces really bad reflux at night, has anyone found any solution. at 5ml I can easily lose the weight at 4ml I stand still. HI, Mine is abit of a loooong story so i'll try to make it as short as i can. ok so the short of it is i had a baby in 06. six months later i decided to get a band, i lost about 22kgs then feel pregnant again. little did i know i was going to have twins. Hi kathy I had my band put in about 4 days agao - I know its probably an adjiustment to the new diet Im now taking howebver I find now that any milk product - like the sustagen drinks you can buy gives me a run to the toilet. Im also taking a vitamin drink called Maximum Greens Complete foermula - I find drinking it refreshes me in the morning and its full of all the vitamins and minerals I need - would I still need to take a multivitamin with this? Great research happening along these lines linking obesity to an inflammation process that the body reacts to by increased hormones that do not help weight loss. Long story short- totally dairy allergic and gluten intolerant (there is a difference between allergy and intolerance). hi band buddies, i have had my band for one year now and have found it hard to lose weight i have to stand to eat solid food if i dont then i get pain in my left shoulder very similar to the pain i had when i came out of surgery. i dont eat unless im hungry and most times i eat a bread and butter plate size meal of vegies and sometimes i have meat or chicken with it. ihave not lost weight and i am getting flabby i walk 20-30 mins a day. i am becoming very disheartend with my lack of weight loss....
